Business Initiative Subsidy Programme for new entrepreneurs aged 18-29, with particular emphasis on women

OBJECTIVE

Aim of the action is to promote the entrepreneurship of 2.900 young persons by creating sustainable businesses with particular emphasis on women (60% of the beneficiaries will be unemployed women).

BENEFICIARIES

Beneficiaries are unemployed persons registered with DYPA Register, aged 18-29, considered as NEETs (not in education, employment or training) and who submit a funding application, which includes a business plan proposal.

DURATION AND SUBSIDY AMOUNTS

The programme lasts 12 months and the amount of support for new businesses amounts to 14.800 euros, paid in three instalments as follows:

• 1st instalment amounting to 4.000 Euros, after the start date of the business activity at DOY (public finance department)
• 2nd instalment amounting to 5.400 Euros after the end of the 1st semester from the start date

• 3rd instalment amounting to 5.400 Euros after the end of the 2nd semester from the start date
